Audrina Patridge to Appear in Bongo Jeans Ads

Celebrity fashion trend setter and reality television star Audrina Patridge was recently named as the new advertising star of Bongo Jeans. Patridge’s mother is said to be thrilled to know her daughter is representing a brand she enjoyed in the 1980s.

Bongo is regaining popularity in the fashion industry, and now features not only jeans, but also dresses and fashion accessories.

Patridge also revealed that she would like to someday appear on British soap EastEnders, telling the Mirror, “I’d love to be in EastEnders. I love English TV shows.” Asked about other showbiz matters, she confessed to the Mirror that she and other cast members think that the well-publicized “divorce” between Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt is a publicity stunt.

In the latest celeb news, red carpet favorite of fashion designers Kate Hudson is looking for a new home in New York City with her new significant other, Muse frontman Matt Bellamy. The two have been dating for several months, but only recently went public with their relationship after attending the Glastonbury Music Festival in Britain in June.

Hudson and Bellamy are looking for a place in New York with a playroom for Hudson’s 6-year-old son Ryder and a recording studio for Bellamy.

Bellamy and Hudson recently reached another milestone: Bellamy met Kate’s mother, 60s fashion star Goldie Hawn, and admitted that he was “quite nervous” before the big meeting.

The 41-year-old blonde beauty will appear in Ann Taylor’s fashion industry campaign for Fall 2010, which will appear in top fashion magazines like Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, and Vogue.

Watts and longtime partner Liev Schreiber, with whom she has two sons, recently attended the premiere of Schreiber’s new movie Salt wearing a strapless couture fashion dress by Gucci and a shorter blunt bob haircut with long, side-swept bangs. To get her shiny look, stylist Robert Vetica made the cut longer in front and shorter in back, with razored bangs that are easy to sweep to the side. The 24-year-old socialite / actress / model says that her fashion style has evolved as she has spent more time in the fashion industry for her role on the MTV show “The City.” She recently told the UK ASOS magazine, “I understand the industry a little better and I know what works for me and my personal style.”

Among fashion designers, she likes British brand Burberry the best and considered Burberry’s creative director Christopher Bailey “a genius.” She is also a fan of Markus Lupfer, who frequently collaborates with brands like Topshop and Cacharel. Lupfer, famous for adding evening details like sequins to casual daywear, is a mutual fan of Palermo for her easy-going, sexy style.

Of Olivia’s celebrity fashion style, Lupfer recently told Elle UK, “She’s dressed up but not over dressed, she throws different things together. It’s different, it’s inspiring.”
